Annette Billings

NetAnnette Hope Billings is a Topeka poet, playwright and actress. Her 2015 poetry collection, “A Net Full of Hope,” garnered her Topeka’s 2015 ARTSConnect ARTY Award in Literature. Her readers have dubbed her “Maya of the Midwest,” an honor she appreciates immensely. Performances of her poetry have been well-received in Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. She has performed her one-woman plays, “Neighbors” and “Neighbors, Too” in Kansas, Arkansas and Florida.
