Foundations
This is is is Fostering a Better World

Foundations explores the aesthetics of beneficial microbial life through the work of artists and scientists whose creativity and investigations center bacteria, yeast, and fungi as a medium or subject matter.

The exhibition presents a range of works, including: photography, fabrication, portraiture, and sculpture, represented in images of the original works, as well as sculpture and installation.

Foundations is groundbreaking in being the first international exhibition dedicated exclusively to art and science-as-art dialogue on beneficial microbial life.

Exhibition Works by: Kyria L. Boundy-Mills (Microbiologist and Visual Artist), Gary Cass (Horticulturalist and Fiber Artist), Kelly DuMar (Photographer), Lauren Enriquez (Microbiologist and Visual Artist), Katrina T.
